Reviews: MUAs' Going for gold

Hey bloggers and readers. As promised I bring you another review, this time the Going for Gold, MUAs' palette.

As well as the last palettes, this one cost the same price, the box is as fragile but the eye shadows come in a different shape, squared. 

And not as the other ones I don't think it is a good palette, but I'll give you my detailed opinion in a sec.

Á semelhança das outras paletes, esta também custa o mesmo, a caixa é também bastante frágil mas as sombras vêm numa forma diferente, quadradas,

E ao contrário das outras, eu não penso que seja uma boa palete, mas já vos trago a minha opinião detalhada.

This one, instead of 12 colors has only 10 colors all of them in either different shades of gold or silver.

Esta paleta em vez de 12 cores tem apenas 10 cores todas elas em diferentes tons de ouro ou prata.

As you can see from the image below the are not very pigmented with the exception of the darkest silver and the darkest gold.
They are very dusty and don't stick to you eyelid. Without mentioning the fact that they are super hard to use, and work with.

Como podem ver na imagem abaixo, elas não são muito pigmentadas com a excepção do cinzento mais escuro e do dourado mais escuro. 
São muito poeirentas e não ficam na pálpebra. Sem falar do facto que é super difícil de usar e de trabalhar com elas.

When I saw this palette I thought of Emma Watson s' make up in one of the premiers of Harry Potter in NYC, without the gold pieces on the corner of course. So I tried to recreate it.
I used the black of Glamour Night palette from MUA as a base, filling the eyelid completely.
After that, with the 8th tone from Going for Gold I applied with a small brush a tiny bit on the inner corner. For the golden degrade I used as the main eye shadow the 5th tone, because it was the most pigmented one.
Still on the inner corner I finished with golden glitter.

Quando eu vi esta paleta eu pensei logo na maquilhagem da Emma Watson num dos premiers do Harry Potter em NYC, sem o ouro nos cantos é claro. Então tentei recriar. 
Utilizei o preto da paleta Glamour Nights da MUA para a base, cobrindo a palpebra por completo. 
Em seguida esfumei os cantos e em baixo na linha de água. 
De seguida peguei no tom número 8 da Going for Gold e apliquei com um pincel pequeno no canto interior do olho e na linha de água em baixo. 
Para o degradé de dourado usei como sombra principal o tom número 5, pois era o mais pigmentado.
Ainda no canto do olho finalizei com glitter dourado.

This is my final make up, it didn't turn out terrible, but it also didn't turn out how i wanted it to.
The eye shadow wouldn't stay, I couldn't make a nice degrade with it because it just didn't mix well with the other ones.
Not pigmented enough.
Well I'm not 100% happy, specially because the other palettes were so good, so I was excepting more of this one. Oh and it was sooooo dusty that it made me cry for 10 min straight on.
I'm sure I will be using it again, but yeah wouldn't buy it again.

Esta é a minha maquilhagem final, não está horrivel, mas também não esta o que eu queria que ficasse. 
A sombra não ficava na palpebra, não conseguia fazer um degradé de jeito porque as sombras não misturavam bem umas com as outras. 
Não é suficientemente pigmentada. 
Bem não estou 100% contente, especialmente porque as outras paletas eram tão boas que eu esperei mais desta. Ah e era tão poeirenta que me fez chorar durante 10 minutos seguidos. 
Tenho a certeza que voltarei a usá-la mas nunca a compraria outra vez.

Reviews: MUAs' Glitter Ball & Glamour nights

Hey bloggers and readers. It's been a while since my last make up review, so this time I bring you not one, but two reviews on the most wanted MUA palettes.

We all have to agree that the price is amazing but it is a shame that I had to go to England to find them and that they are constantly out of stock. On one side it is a good thing, I think it means they are really good? I had to test them to prove myself right or wrong.

So they come in a plastic box, very fragile so you have to be careful carrying them around.

Olá bloggers e leitores. Já faz um tempinho desde a minha última review de maquilhagem, então desta vez não trago uma mas sim duas reviews das tão desejadas paletes MUA.

Todos temos de concordar que o preço é maravilhoso mas é uma pena que eu tenha de ir a Inglaterra para as encontrar e a constante falta de stock. Por um lado é uma coisa boa pois devem ser boas. Eu tive de testar para me provar certa ou errada.

Então elas vêm numa caixa de plástico muito frágil por isso têm de ter cuidado com elas.

Each palette has 12 different colors.

The Glitter Ball, all the colors have a bit of shimmer: Black; Pink nude; Military green; Turquoise blue; Sea blue/green; Whitish; Bright pink; Bronze; Marron; Brown; Grey; Purple.

Cada palette tem 12 cores diferentes.

A Glitter Ball, todas as cores têm um bocadinho de brilho: Preto; Cor de rosa nude; Verde militar; Azul turquesa; Verde/azul do mar; Esbranquiçado; Cor de rosa vivo; Bronze; Marron; Castanho; Cinzento; Roxo.

So for my blue make up I used the 4th color on top counting from the left as a base.
This color looks very bright but it's tricky. I'm not sure if it was the brush I used but it didn't have much pigment or was glittery.
The blue next to it I used it for the corners of my eye, this one was beautiful, very pigmented not dusty at all and glittery.

Então para a minha maquilhagem azul eu usei a quarta cor em cima a contar da esquerda como base.
Esta cor parecia muito viva mas é engano. Não tenho a certeza se foi do meu pincel mas esta cor não tinh grande pigmento ou era muito brilhante.
A azul ao lado da outra usei para os cantos to meu olho, esta cor é maravilhosa, muito pigmentada, nada poeirenta e bastante brilhante.

This palette also has 12 different colors.

Glamour nights, all the colors have a bit of shimmer but not as much as Glitter Ball: White; Marron; Dark blue; Silver; Grey; Bronze; Black; Gold; Green; Purple; Red; Nude.

Esta palete também tem 12 cores.

Glamour nights, todas as cores são brilhantes mas não tanto como as da Glitter Ball: Branco; Marron; Azul escuro; Prata; Cinzento; Bronze; Preto; Ouro; Verde; Roxo; Vermelho; Nude.

So for the final touch I covered my external corner of the eye with the 3rd color counting from the left. A dark blue I'd say. This one really surprised me in a good way, it is dark but you can still see the difference from black. Loved it!

Então para o toque final eu passei com o azul escuro, terceira cor a contar da esquerda, no canto do olho até meio da pálpebra. Este surpreendeu-me pela positiva, é escuro mas consegue-se ver a diferença do preto. Adorei!

So This is how my make up turned out to look like. The colors look very different from the photos but it's the best I could do.

E é esta a maquilhagem final. as cores ficaram muito diferentes nas fotos mas foi o máximo que pude fazer.

So to finish, I haven't tried all the colors on my eyes but have on my hand and they all look good. Very pigmented, shinny are they last a day! I'm writing this with the make up on. It is 7 p.m and I did my make up around 9 a.m haven't touched the eye shadow and it still looks like it looked this morning. It's a definite yes! Cheap, good and lasting.

Para acabar com a review quero dizer que ainda não experimentei todas as cores nos olhos, mas sim nas mãos e parecem-me muito bem. Muito pigmentadas, brilhantes e duram o dia todo! Eu estou a escrever este post com esta maquilhagem nos olhos e são 7 da tarde. Fiz a minha maquilhagem às 9 da manha ainda não retoquei nada e ainda está intacta! É um sim bem alto!
Barato, bom e durador. 
Espero que tenham gostado, e as reviews não ficam por aqui já que tenho algumas paletes da mesma marca para experimentar.
